4-Day South Sudan Express 2026/2027 | Mundari & Dinka Private Photo Tour from Juba

7 Days 6 Nights
No Fixed Departure Available!

Four days. Two of Africa’s most iconic tribal cultures. The perfect South Sudan introduction for photographers, adventure travelers and tribal-culture enthusiasts who want the bucket-list Mundari cattle-camp experience without a full week off the grid. Our South Sudan Express is RJ Travel’s most popular private expedition into the world’s youngest country.

Based out of Juba, this tightly packed 4-day itinerary delivers dawn and golden-hour access to the ash-painted Mundari warriors and their giant Ankole-Watusi longhorn cattle in Terekeka, followed by immersive visits to traditional Dinka fishing villages along the White Nile. Everything — 4×4 Land Cruiser, English-speaking guide, armed escort, entry permit, photography permit, hotels and meals — is handled by our vetted South Sudan ground team.

Why the Express is our best-seller

South Sudan’s Mundari cattle camps have become one of the most photographed tribal scenes in Africa — and for good reason. The ash-covered warriors, the mega-horned Ankole cattle at sunrise, the intimate daily rituals around the fire: this is one of the last truly untouched pastoral cultures on the continent. Our 4-day Express gives you two full days inside these camps plus Dinka fishing village visits, all from a single Juba base. Ideal for photographers and first-timers to South Sudan.
