Get ready for an exciting day of history and natural beauty! We’ll start with a visit to the stunning white terraces of Pamukkale, called the “Castle of Cotton.” Next, we’ll explore the ancient city of Hierapolis and enjoy lunch. Then, we’ll head to Kusadasi and visit the House of the Virgin Mary before watching a fashion show of leather goods. Lastly, we’ll visit the well-preserved ancient city of Ephesus and see the Hadrian Temple, Roman Baths, Library of Celsus, and the Odeon theater; We’ll then fly to Ankara and transfer to our hotel, please note that dinner is not included due to the late arrival.
Get ready for a day filled with history and natural beauty as we depart for the Museum of Ancient Anatolian Civilizations, where you’ll discover the rich heritage of Asia Minor. We’ll also pay our respects to Ataturk, the founder of the Turkish Republic. After that, we’re off to the unique and breathtaking region of Cappadocia; where you’ll see the world-famous geological formations, and pass by the Salt Lake. Enjoy a delicious lunch on the way and then check into our hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
Join us for an unforgettable day of exploring Turkey’s ancient past! After breakfast, we’ll embark on a full-day excursion to the Open Air Museum of Göreme where we’ll admire the intricate frescoes inside the rock-carved churches. We’ll then visit the troglodyte village of Uchisar and take a stroll through the beautiful Valley of Pigeon, also known as the Fairy Chimneys. We’ll also pass by Pasabag (Valley of the Monks) and the village of Avanos, known for its pottery. After a delicious lunch, we’ll explore the underground city of Serhatli; used by early Christians as a refuge and witness how the famous Turkish carpets are woven. We’ll end the day with a visit to an onyx and jewelry workshop before returning to our hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
