On this 4-day Morocco itinerary, you will go from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert at the amazing natural site of Erg Chebbi dunes. The Marrakech Sahara tour takes you to cross through the High Atlas Mountains that rise up to 4000 meters. Your first stop will be in Telouet mountain village to visit the 18th-century Palace of the Glaoui, the last Pasha of Marrakech.
Descending the Ounila Valley, one of the most attractive valleys in south Morocco, you will stop at the UNESCO site of Ksar Ait Benhaddou. Afterward, you will notice the amazing change of scenery arriving in Ouarzazate, where you start to spot the first palm groves and oasis-like landscape.
Your 4 days Marrakech desert trip will continue through Dades Valley, where you will enjoy a cup of tea/coffee at the panorama outlook to enjoy the serpentine effect of the Tissedrine Road. Before arriving at Merzouga for your camel ride, you will still visit the breathtaking Todra Gorges, the 300-meter-high canyons near Tinghir.
The way back to Marrakech is done by the southern road connecting Errachidia and Ouarzazate provinces through Zagora province. You get to know and explore many of the fantastic Draa-Tafilalet region’s best landscapes. After exploring Rissaani famous market, you will cross Nkob Berber village with its 35 well-preserved kasbahs and enjoy the great view of Jbel Kissane from the Agdz panorama viewpoint. Your last night before the end of the tour will be at Oasis Fint, famous for being one of the spots chosen to shoot Game of Thrones.
