We provide full guidance on how to obtain the Libya Letter of Invitation (LOI) required for your Libya visa application. This official document is essential for securing your visa and confirming your participation in any Libya tour.
The LOI is a critical component that simplify the visa application process. With this in hand, you can apply for your Libya visa either through the nearest Libyan embassy or—more conveniently—via the official Libya e-Visa portal. Once you arrive at Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli, simply present your approved visa, which will be stamped upon entry by immigration authorities.
Libya Visa Invitation Letter
Application Process
- The Libya LOI application process begins 4 to 8 weeks before your trip and typically takes 1 to 2 weeks to process.
- Fill up the form below, and ensure that all the information provided matches your passport details.
- Most nationalities can obtain a Libyan tourist e-Visa after receiving a Letter of Invitation (LOI) issued by our trusted local partners. A reliable travel agency in Libya is important, and we work with multiple providers depending on availability, so it’s important that all information is well organized on both sides.
⚠️ Important: While we are here to offer full guidance and support, please note that applying for your Libya e-Visa or a visa at a Libyan embassy remains your responsibility, and the outcome is beyond our control. Although visa rejections are rare—especially through the new e-Visa platform—they are still possible. If your passport contains any evidence of entry into Israel (such as stamps or visas), your entry into Libya will be refused upon arrival.
