After a flight to Kayseri, we’ll take a scenic drive and make a stop at the Saruhan Caravanserai, a 12th-century inn built for trading caravans. Enjoy a delicious lunch on the historic Silk Road. As we continue our journey, we’ll explore the Zelve Valley, where different cultures coexisted until 1924. Admire the stunning Fairy Chimneys and the troglodyte village of Ortahisar before checking into the hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay. Don’t forget to bring your cameras, as the sights will be unforgettable!
Get ready for an exciting full-day excursion in Cappadocia! After breakfast, we’ll visit the Open Air Museum of Goreme, where you’ll marvel at the intricate churches built into the rocks and their beautiful frescoes. Next, we’ll explore the troglodyte village of Uchisar and the Valley of Pigeon. As we pass through Pasabag (Valley of the Monks), also known as the Fairy Chimneys, you’ll see unique rock formations shaped like mushrooms. After lunch in Avanos, a village known for its pottery, we’ll visit the underground city of Serhatli, a fascinating glimpse into early Christian history.
