Seiyun, Shibam, and Mukallah are all located in the Hadhramaut Governorate of Yemen. The weather in the winter in this region is typically hot and dry, with temperatures ranging from around 25 to 35 degrees Celsius (mid-70s to mid-90s Fahrenheit), It is important to carry light, loose-fitting clothing made of breathable fabrics, as well as sun protection such as a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Additionally, you should bring a light sweater or jacket for the occasional cool evening.

In order to finalize your reservation, a 20% deposit must be made via our secure online payment portal. This quoted rate is valid for a period of seven days, during which time the reservation may be secured by paying the deposit. Please note that after one week, the rate may be subject to change based on fluctuations in exchange rates and availability.

The rest of the payment will be delivered in cash to my guide in Yemen when you meet him at the airport. You must bring large USD denomination banknotes (50 and 100) up to 2009. Please make sure you get them well in advance. Some of our clients had difficulties getting USD bills at the last minute. We have made significant updates to our travel plans for entering Yemen. Previously, we used to recommend and organize tours that traveled from Salalah in Oman to Seiyun by land. This route, while lengthy, ensured fixed dates for entry and departure into Yemen, providing predictability and safety for your trip. Traveling by land allowed us to stick to your planned itinerary, despite the long hours on the road.

Unfortunately, entering Yemen by land from Oman through Salalah is no longer possible, as the authorities in Oman do not permit entry via this route. However, the border remains open for exiting Yemen.

To adapt to these changes and enhance your travel experience, we have now switched to entering Yemen by air. With direct flights from Cairo to Seiyun, you can now reach your destination faster and more comfortably. Although air travel can sometimes be unpredictable, we have found reliable flight options that ensure timely arrivals and departures.

By opting for air travel, we aim to provide a smoother, more efficient journey, allowing you to spend more time enjoying the beauty and cultural richness of Yemen rather than on the road.
