Trip to Iran 2021
Description
Fars Province is the original homeland of the Persian people. The Sassanid Archaeological Landscape of Fars Region is enlisted on the World Heritage Sites list by UNESCO. It was once the center of the Persian Empire, and it’s no coincidence that the language spoken today in Iran is called Farsi. The ancient Persians established here around the 10th century BC and founded the great Achaemenid Empire, which was followed by the Seleucid Empire, then the Parthian Empire, and, finally, the Sassanid Empire. On this express tour of the region, you will dive into the ancient Persian empire.
